Radio web quest!
In room 7 we have been researching and making presentations about radios, televisions, and satellites. The thing that was good for me was my background and the colour contrast was better than than my previous presentation. I need to work harder next time and try to finish on time.

Road trip to Tauranga and Matamata!
In the weekend my family and I packed to go to Tauranga for my grand aunt's funeral. We took two cars, my uncle took his van and my dad took our van. My cousins went with my uncle so I went with them. My cousin were playing on my big cousin’s Iphone and I was listening to my phone.
I had to pack my rugby league clothes as well because I had a tournament for my Counties Maoris team. The game started at 9:30 in Matamata. My dad texted my team coach that I was going to be a bit late because I had to go to my grand aunt’s funeral. When the funeral finished, my aunties and uncles from Tauranga made our family some food, it was very nice.
Then I had to say bye to everyone because I had to leave otherwise I will be very late. When I got to my tournament, they have just finished half time so I got dressed very fast and hopped onto the field but coach put me into second row because all the forwards were getting tired and scared. After that game we went to go play against the Samoan team and my coach put me as Centre so I can just run fast through them.
When we finished we went to have lunch. For lunch we had sandwiches and fruits so that we can have more energy for 2 more games. We won all our games and got trophies from the managers. When we finished we went back to the funeral to say bye to everyone. Then we went back home to Auckland because my dad had work in the morning.

Trials For Counties Maoris
Yesterday 28th of July my nana and grandpa slept over my house because they wanted to come and watch me at the Counties Maoris training in Pukekohe. We had to be there at 10:00 at the Python club. It was far but it was worth it. When we got there I asked the coach if he needed help and he said “Okay so he told me to grab the cones and the balls” I got them and he told me to give them to him so he can put them down.
Then the coach told the team to run around the two fields twice. When we came back we had to do some stretches so our muscles won't get sore. After the stretch the coach showed us how to do the movement for fitness. After fitness we had a game there were two cones on each side of the field one person gets the ball and tries to score while the other one has to tries tackle the one with the ball. I scored a try and stopped two guys with the ball. It was a lot of fun but when we were finishing the coach told us to run around the field two more times.
When we finished, coach was talking to the parents about how much more than one costs and telling us that we have to stop mucking around.

Today My Life Begins
I recommend "Today My Life Begins" by Room13 from Pt England School, because I think it was very cool the way they sang today my life begins and they were dancing to the beat. It was interesting how they did a drawing about the song when they sang 'I will break these chain to bind me'. It was also funny how they wear wigs and dance.

Painting the Dragon
I was so scared because it was our first practise for the cultural festival. My group was the Chinese group. I was so excited to go because I wanted to see what our dance was like. It was cool? Miss Chao showed us a video on YouTube of Chinese dragon dancing. I thought it looked hard to do but Miss Chao said that we would learn an easier dance. Miss Chao asked, "who wants to be a drummer?" Ethan, Greshka, Kryzjon, Celeb, and Arvsheck put their hands up. Miss Chao said that they had to make three beats, the beat that they made was pretty good for their first time playing the drums. Mrs Umol made very realistic dragon heads. Tricia and some other people helped paint the dragon heads. The next practise we had to make masks for ourselves. I didn't do mine because I was helping Tricia paint the dragon head. The highlight of my practise was painting the dragon.

Room7 visiting Edgewater collage
On Wednesday, we went to Technocraft. It was my first time going to Technocraft and it was very scary, because I thought that the other kids from other schools were coming too. when we got on the bus , some of the boys went to the back and some stayed at the front. I sat at the back. When we got to Edgewater college, my stomach was getting butterflies. When we were walking through Edgewater, lots of kids were looking at us. This girl told Gabby to go to her Asian little boy. i was laughing my bute off. We stopped outside the Technocraft building we had to line up in alphabetical order and we were waiting for Mrs Scott, she was a very nice lady.
When we went into the room, Christopher and I didn't know which group we were in. Vitor joined us because we didn’t know what to do, so he helped us out. I Thought we were a great team, because we worked together and we had a job each. We made the best muffins Mrs Scott said that.We did a good job making our muffins.
When our muffins finished in the oven, we started eating the cheese muffins and it was so nice. Then we gave a cheese muffin to Mrs Scott and she said it was very nice. She said
“well done unit 6”. We tried to give Miss Chao a muffin, but she said “Its okay It yours so you eat it”. Christopher said “more for me”. I said that we had to half it.
After cooking muffins, we had to do a worksheet about washing your hands before eating. We had to draw a picture to show how to wash your before eating your meal. We had to do colour our picture in.
After we finished doing our worksheet, we had to give our sheets back to Mrs Scott. She told us “if we haven't finished it , you are doing it for homework”. But I finished mine I gave it to Mrs Scott and she “said thank you “. We said “thank you for teaching us how to make cheese muffins”.And she said “its okay”. Then we had to go through the whole school again, it was so scary. We hopped on the bus and headed back to school.
